30 African Countries Head to IOAI 2026 in Astana

The African Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (AOAI) is proud to announce that 30 countries and territories from across the African continent are part of the growing AOAI network heading toward the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) 2026 in Astana, Kazakhstan.

As the Regional Olympiad of the IOAI for Africa, AOAI supports National AI Olympiads that identify and prepare each country’s brightest young talent to compete on the world stage. This record participation marks a major milestone for AI education across the continent.
